Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using BoardCore Prep. By accessing or using boardcoreprep.com, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
1. Eligibility
BoardCore Prep is intended for use by medical professionals and trainees, including physicians, fellows, and residents preparing for board certification examinations. By using this platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
2. Invite-Only Access
Access to BoardCore Prep is currently invite-only and available to approved users at no charge during the beta period. We reserve the right to approve or deny access requests at our sole discretion and to revoke access at any time for any reason, including misuse of the platform.
3. Educational Purpose Only
All content on BoardCore Prep, including questions, explanations, AI Coach responses, and supporting material, is provided for educational and exam preparation purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, clinical recommendations, or guidance for patient care decisions.
Do not use content from this platform to inform clinical decisions. Always rely on your own clinical judgment and consult current medical literature and guidelines for patient care.
4. Account and Access
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may not share your account or invite link with others.
- You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape content from the platform.
- You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on BoardCore Prep, including but not limited to questions, explanations, clinical vignettes, user interface design, and the AI Coach system, is owned by BoardCore Prep and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any platform content without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use for individual study purposes is permitted.
6. AI Coach
The AI Coach feature uses artificial intelligence to analyze your performance and provide educational feedback. AI-generated responses are not reviewed by licensed physicians before delivery and may contain inaccuracies. AI Coach output should be used as a study aid only, not as authoritative clinical guidance.
By using the AI Coach, you acknowledge that responses are automatically generated and that BoardCore Prep does not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
BoardCore Prep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that question content reflects the most current board exam format or clinical guidelines.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, BoardCore Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform, including any reliance on content for clinical or exam decisions. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if BoardCore Prep has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BoardCore Prep and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Texas Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms of Use limits any rights you may have under Texas law, including the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Ch. 17) or other applicable Texas consumer protection statutes. If you believe your rights under these laws have been violated, you may contact the Texas Attorney General's Office at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
11. Changes to the Platform
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the platform at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from your use of the platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
